For my design, I wanted to make a logo that represents what people see in East Ferris and a modern but fitting design. Through research, I was inspired by the taper waves that a lot of logos use as well as the negative space in some imagery. Not many modern municipality logos use animals and go for architecture instead so I decided to go back to using an animal in a more modern way. An animal that would be “iconic” for the area.
